Microsoft Technical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365-related issues.
• Contribute to the integration of Microsoft solutions with other commercial technologies.
• Assist with change management activities by supporting coordination efforts with internal teams and third-party consultants, participating in project planning, and helping with documentation and execution.
• Support the administration of Microsoft 365 tenant(s) by assisting with tasks such as monitoring system health and following established security policies with other members of the Microsoft team.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, job aids, user education collateral, and standard operating procedures.
• Work with business teams to gather requirements and assist in delivering solutions under supervision; help support process improvements and learn how to optimize Microsoft technologies throughout the organization.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing expertise.

Experience

• 2+ years experience as a Microsoft Technical Engineer or similar information systems role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards related to Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of change management process and leading practices.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a technology-related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
