Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Platform Support Engineer to provide dedicated platform administration and operational support for an enterprise Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environment. The role will focus on platform monitoring, capacity management, workspace administration, ticket handling, and user-facing support during US business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Service environments.
• Monitor and manage Power BI/Fabric capacities and platform performance.
• Perform workspace administration, access management, and related governance activities.
• Handle incidents and service requests through ServiceNow in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Provide user-facing support and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Follow ITIL-based incident and service management processes.
• Maintain operational documentation and ensure adherence to defined support procedures.

Qualification & Certification

• 4–10 years of relevant experience in Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Administration and Platform Support.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service Administration, workspace administration, and capacity management.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric administration is required.
• Experience working with ServiceNow and ITIL-based support processes.
• Strong understanding of incident management and SLA-based support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in US Eastern Time business hours.
• Initial knowledge transfer/training will be conducted from the Chennai office.
