Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring finance modules, supporting implementations, and optimizing financial processes within the D365 environment.

Gather and analyze business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.

Configure and implement D365 Finance modules based on business requirements.

Work on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, and budgeting.

Map business processes to D365 Finance functionality and recommend suitable solutions.

Prepare functional design documents, configuration documentation, and process flows.

Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements.

Support data migration, system integration, and financial data validation.

Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing application support.

Assist with system upgrades, deployments, user training, and post-implementation support.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

Strong functional knowledge of finance and accounting processes.

Experience configuring D365 Finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash and Bank Management.

Understanding of financial reporting, tax configuration, budgeting, and period-end closing.

Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional documentation.

Knowledge of data migration, integrations, testing, and issue resolution.

Ability to work with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with D365 Finance implementation or rollout projects.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).

Familiarity with Electronic Reporting (ER), workflow configuration, and financial reporting tools.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications.

Experience working in Agile or structured implementation environments.
