Job Responsibilities

Dynamics 365 CE Development

• Configure and customize D365 CE Sales and Customer Service components, including tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, business process flows, dashboards, and security roles.
• Review assigned Salesforce functionality and technical specifications to implement approved target-state behavior in D365 CE, avoiding unnecessary one-to-one replication of legacy customizations.
• Develop and maintain plugins, custom APIs, C#/.NET components, JavaScript form scripts, and Dataverse Web API interactions as required.
• Implement validations, automation, user experience enhancements, and reusable components following technical lead standards.
• Troubleshoot functional defects, performance issues, and data-related problems.

Power Apps, Power Automate & Power Pages

• Build and enhance model-driven and canvas Power Apps using Dataverse and approved connectors.
• Create Power Automate cloud flows for approvals, notifications, data processing, orchestration, and business automation.
• Implement robust flow patterns including input validation, error handling, retries, logging, and failure notifications.
• Develop Power Pages pages, forms, lists, navigation, and customizations using supported HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and portal capabilities.
• Configure and test authentication, web roles, table permissions, and secure external access to Dataverse.
• Consider usability, accessibility, performance, licensing, maintainability, and security in implementation decisions.

Integration & Migration Support

• Implement application-side changes required to support APIs and integrations between D365 CE and connected enterprise or partner systems.
• Collaborate with the integration lead to implement and test request/response handling, field mapping, status updates, error messages, and idempotent processing where applicable.
• Support data migration mock loads and validation by investigating rejected records, mapping issues, relationship errors, and data quality exceptions.
• Help verify migrated records, forms, workflows, activities, and reports against approved acceptance criteria.
• Do not hard-code credentials or secrets; use approved connection, environment, and secretmanagement patterns.

Testing, ALM & Support

• Perform developer testing and support functional, integration, regression, and UAT cycles.
• Use solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, and approved release/deployment processes.
• Follow naming standards, coding conventions, peer review feedback, and solution documentation requirements.
• Support release deployment, production incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and hypercare.
• Work with technical leads, business analysts, QA

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE and/or Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Experience configuring D365 CE and working with Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, and security.
• Practical experience with model-driven apps, canvas apps, and Power Automate cloud flows.
• Experience with Power Pages development or customization, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and portal security concepts.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and Dataverse Web API appropriate to assigned work.
• Understanding of solution packaging, environment management, source control, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to a Salesforce-to-D365 CE migration or CRM modernization program.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, or third-party integrations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines, automated testing, or release management.
• Exposure to Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or AI-enabled automation.
• Microsoft PL-400 or other relevant Dynamics 365/Power Platform certification.
• Experience in benefits administration, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or regulated environments.
