Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Senior Administrator

Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage Microsoft 365 security and compliance solutions, including Compliance Center and Security Center. Implement and maintain data loss prevention (DLP) policies, retention policies, and sensitivity labels. Monitor, investigate, and respond to security and compliance alerts within Microsoft 365. Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 security features. Oversee identity and access management using Azure Active Directory security controls and conditional access. Perform periodic audits, security assessments, and compliance reporting. Ensure alignment with regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and organizational policies. Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to strengthen security posture and resolve issues. Provide guidance, documentation, and end-user support on Microsoft 365 security best practices. Mandatory Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center Strong understanding of DLP, retention policies, eDiscovery, and sensitivity labels Experience with Azure AD security features and conditional access Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Incident response and security monitoring skills Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.) Preferred Skills: Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate (SC-200/SC-300/SC-400) Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation Knowledge of Cloud App Security (Defender for Cloud Apps) Experience working in hybrid cloud environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills
