We are currently seeking a Messaging Services Senior Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Responsibilities
- Provide steady state support to the messaging infrastructure, handling on-call support responsibilities, escalations, critical issues, server maintenance activities, mentoring team members and other day-to-day support operations.
- Expert on Messaging technologies - SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises servers and OneDrive for Business.
- A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to end users.
- Understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.
- Flexible working in shifts supporting 24x7 or US business hours steady state operations.
- Individuals understand their own area and can perform all facets of their role. Good analytical, excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Energetic, self-motivated and self-sufficient in accomplishing tasks.

- Technical Skillset:
- Health checks, server capacity management and proactive configuration management support.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collection administration, permissions models, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Security hardening and patch/update management support.
- Collaboration components configuration management.
- Search engine configuration management and Content management configuration support.
- Manage site collection administration, permissions, content types, lists, libraries, workflows, and templates. Configure advanced features such as hub sites, managed metadata, search optimization, and retention policies.
- Utilize monitoring tools and analytics (e.g., Microsoft 365 Security Compliance Centre, SharePoint Admin Centre) to track usage, performance, and compliance metrics. Generate and present regular reports to management.
- Use PowerShell to manage, automate, and script SharePoint and OneDrive environments.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform). Establish best practices for site provisioning, metadata, and taxonomy.
- Establishing and enforcing organization-wide policies for data retention, sharing settings, and security protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Interact with Microsoft support to resolve tenant-level issues or service outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in administration and support of M365 workloads.
- Strong knowledge and skills in M365 services and features, such as SharePoint Online and Security and Compliance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in Microsoft 365.
