Role Summary:
Lead end-to-end product ownership for MES solutions, translating manufacturing business requirements into actionable deliverables and ensuring integration across enterprise and shop-floor systems.
What Youll Do:
- Own, prioritize, and manage the MES product backlog to align with factory modernization and smart manufacturing objectives
- Translate complex shop-floor processes into user stories and detailed functional specifications
- Collaborate with plant managers, automation engineers, IT/OT architects, and vendors for seamless systems integration (ERP, MES, SCADA/PLC)
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story mapping, and product demos
- Define and track KPIs related to operational efficiency, cycle-time reduction, and data accuracy
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- 8 to 12+ years of industry experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role within manufacturing domain solutions
- Deep functional knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Dassault Apriso, or Aveva) and understanding of ISA-95 standards
- Strong familiarity with shop-floor technologies such as PLM, industrial IoT (IIoT), digital twins, and SCADA automation
- Professional proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management, and Confluence for documentation
