MES Operator - Hyundai WIA - Location : Pune

. Position Summary

The MES Operator will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) activities within the manufacturing environment. The role requires coordination with production, IT, SAP, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production system operations, data accuracy, and timely issue resolution.

Key Skills Required

• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Experience in manufacturing or automotive production environments.
  • Understanding of production processes, shop-floor operations, and system transactions.
  • Basic knowledge of databases, Windows operating systems, and network connectivity.
  • Exposure to SAP integration and production-related transactions.
  • Ability to analyze system issues and coordinate with support teams.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts when required.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor MES applications and production interfaces to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Support production users in MES-related activities and transaction processing.
  • Perform routine system monitoring and health checks.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate MES issues to relevant technical teams.
  • Coordinate with production, SAP, server, database, and network teams during incident resolution.
  • Verify production data accuracy and ensure timely system updates.
  • Maintain operational logs, issue records, and shift handover documentation.
  • Support user training and provide first-level support for MES users.
  • Assist in MES testing, validation, and deployment activities during enhancements or upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, IT procedures, and information security requirements.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in automotive manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP or integrated manufacturing systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with production reporting and KPI monitoring.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process flows and quality systems.
