We are looking for a skilled and proactive MERN Stack Developer (2 to 3 years experience) to join our growing software development team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience building real-world web applications and is confident working across both frontend and backend.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance web solutions and contribute actively to code quality, architecture decisions, and development best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) .
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus) with databases and third-party services.
- Work independently on feature development and take ownership of assigned modules.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and optimized code following industry best practices.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across frontend and backend.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct and contribute to code reviews , ensuring high code quality and adherence to standards.
- Assist in improving development workflows, CI/CD processes, documentation, and project structure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience as a MERN Stack Developer or in a similar full-stack role.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, React.js , and modern frontend development practices.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js and Express.js .
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB (or other NoSQL/SQL databases).
- Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API practices.
- Experience using Git/GitHub and working in a collaborative development environment.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Nice to Have (Plus, Not Mandatory)
- Experience with Docker , AWS/Azure, or deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, or microservices architecture.
- Experience with performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
