MERN / MEAN Stack Developer

Job Summary

Build real full-stack features for real clients.

You'll join a delivery team building client web apps, SaaS products and enterprise systems on the JavaScript stack - MongoDB, Express and Node.js, with React (MERN) or Angular (MEAN) on the front end. It's a structured entry-level role: you'll be mentored by senior engineers, work on real client code early, and build features end to end, from the database schema and REST API to the user interface. Were looking for graduates who have built and deployed something of their own, not just completed a course.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the stack: UI in React or Angular, APIs and business logic in Node.js and Express, data in MongoDB.
• Design and consume REST APIs, with request validation, clear error responses and well-defined JSON contracts.
• Model MongoDB collections and write efficient queries, including indexes and basic aggregations, with guidance from seniors.
• Turn UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible and reusable components.
• Implement authentication and authorisation (JWT or session based) and follow secure-coding basics.
• Write clean, readable, documented code and add unit tests where the project expects them.
• Debug and fix defects reported by QA or clients across the front end, API and database.
• Use Git every day - branches, pull requests and resolving merge conflicts - and act on code-review feedback.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos) and give honest estimates for your tasks.
• Keep learning our tools and client domains - SaaS, ERP, banking and AI integrations - and share what you learn.

Requirements

• Solid JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+, closures, promises, async/await) plus good HTML5 and CSS3, including Flexbox, Grid and responsive layout.
• Hands-on Node.js and Express: routing, middleware and building a CRUD REST API.
• MongoDB basics: documents and collections, CRUD operations and simple schema design (Mongoose is fine).
• Working knowledge of either React (components, hooks, state, routing) or Angular (components, services, routing, forms, basic TypeScript and RxJS).
• Understanding of HTTP, REST and JSON, and how to call APIs from the front end.
• Everyday Git and an active GitHub profile.
• At least 1-2 full-stack projects you built yourself - ideally deployed with a live link - that you can explain line by line.
• Core computer-science basics: data structures, problem solving and OOP.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc or BCA/B.Sc in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
