Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MERN Developer role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The MERN Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating RESTful APIs, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA engineers. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The MERN Developer will contribute to project planning, follow best practices in version control and deployment, and support continuous improvement within the development team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of expertise. Strong proficiency in MERN stack development, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration of third-party services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (Git), and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) and security best practices is an advantage.
