Merchant Acquisition Executive

ElestaBiz builds a website and online-store builder for Indian small businesses - shops, restaurants, studios and service providers - so they can get online without technical help. We are hiring a Merchant Acquisition Executive to find businesses that sell on Instagram, show them what their own ElestaBiz store could look like, and help them go live.

What you will do

• Research small businesses on Instagram and other public listings by hand, and keep a lead list of businesses that sell through posts and DMs but have no website.

• Build a sample ElestaBiz site for each shortlisted business, and share it with the owner as a private preview link.

• Call business owners from the company's business number, walk them through their sample site, and answer their questions about plans, payments and delivery.

• Help owners who sign up to add their products, publish their site and take their first order.

• Record every lead, call and outcome in the company's tracker, and report every week on calls made, demos shown and sign-ups.

How we work

• We research leads by hand only - no scraping tools, bots or mass messages.

• Sample sites stay private until the owner decides to publish; we never put a business's logo or photos on a public page without their permission.

• We call only from the company's registered business number, and we stop contacting anyone who asks us to.

About the role

• Fixed-term employment for 12 months, renewable by mutual agreement.

• Remote: you work from home, anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.

• Pay: Rs. 20,000 a month fixed, plus an incentive for every business that becomes a paying customer.

Requirements

• Confident on the phone in Telugu and English. Hindi is a plus.

• Comfortable with Instagram and quick to learn a website builder - we train you on ElestaBiz.

• Organised: you follow up when you said you would, and keep your lead list up to date.

• Experience in sales, telecalling, customer service or retail is a plus. Freshers are welcome to apply.

• A reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work from home in Andhra Pradesh.
