Merchandising & Back Office Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a smart, fashion-conscious and highly computer-proficient Fashion Merchandising Back Office Executive to manage back-office merchandising, product data and inventory operations. The candidate should have a good understanding of fashion and Indian ethnic wear, along with excellent command of Excel, ERP/POS software and data management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage product entries, SKU creation and product categorisation.
• Maintain accurate stock and product data in ERP/POS systems.
• Handle stock reconciliation and inventory updates.
• Coordinate stock transfers and movement between stores.
• Prepare MIS and inventory reports using Excel.
• Identify products based on fabric, design, colour, work, silhouette and category.
• Maintain and update product master data.
• Coordinate with merchandising, store and operations teams.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all back-office activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile, Apparel, Retail Management or related field preferred.
• 1-4 years of experience in fashion retail, merchandising, apparel or inventory operations preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/POS software and computers is essential.
• Good understanding of Indian ethnic wear and fashion products.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and data accuracy.
• Smart, proactive and comfortable handling large volumes of product data.
