Merchandiser

Roles and Responsibilities (should have existing experience with the below items and we will train on the specific formats of our company in the first 30 days):

• To work on season-wise design books with the new and existing buyers.
• To source and submit new developments of fabrics/trims/samples to existing clients and potential new clients
• Make Courier Invoice with correct details mentioned (Logistics Department can help with this, but main responsibility is with Merchandiser because of product knowledge)
• Do garment costing and quote prices for new styles coordinate with buyer till order closure
• To coordinate with buyers- buying offices- internal office- vendors for day to day working
• Entering style-wise colour-wise details of orders/ labels/ trims/T&A etc on ERP
• Taking care of all the SMS/ fits/ size sets/PP Samples/ GPT samples related to production
• Ordering bulk labels/ tags/ trims /fabric along with Store Department
• Follow up of bulk material/ fabrics/ samples on daily basis
• Coordinating patterns/fits/measurements/consumptions/etc with Pattern and CAD Department and taking approval/clarifications from the buyer.
• Getting approvals on lab dips / strikeoffs – internal approval or client approval
• Making Fabric POs (Sampling and Bulk) and some Trim POs
• Making production file with all comments and approvals for production
• To monitor the garments production progress as per T&A plan (along with Production Merchandising / Factory team)

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sampling/development merchandising with strong understanding of woven fabrics.
• Good knowledge of computer skills and software such as Excel, PowerPoint, TNA, etc.
• Good communication skill including verbal and written (email).
• Can independently make and follow daily tasks list for themselves.
