Role & responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for buyers and manage customer relationships.
• Coordinate product development, sampling, and approvals as per buyer requirements.
• Work closely with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely order execution.
• Source materials, hardware, and components while managing vendor relationships.
• Prepare cost sheets, quotations, and pricing proposals.
• Monitor production progress, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Conduct market research on furniture trends, materials, and competitor activities.
• Coordinate logistics, shipment schedules, and order tracking.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Furniture Design, Business, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in furniture merchandising, sourcing, or product development.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
• Experience in costing, vendor management, and buyer communication.
• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
