Merchandiser Executive- Buying(Women's Wear & Men's Wear)

Role & responsibilities

The Merchandiser Executive is responsible for supporting the buying and merchandising function to ensure timely product development, order execution, inventory management, and achievement of sales, margin, and stock objectives. The role involves close coordination with vendors, sourcing teams, quality teams, planning, and stores to deliver the right product at the right price and time.

Vendor Management

• Coordinate with vendors for product development and sampling.
• Negotiate costs, MOQs, delivery timelines, and quality requirements.
• Track vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery adherence.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Order Management

• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor order execution from booking to shipment.
• Ensure timely closure of approvals, samples, and production milestones.
• Follow up on shipment status and delivery commitments.

Product Development

• Work closely with design and sourcing teams on new developments.
• Coordinate fit samples, PP samples, and bulk approvals.
• Ensure products meet quality, fit, and brand standards.
