Merchandise Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and textile packaging materials from reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with domestic suppliers and business partners.
• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
• Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials as per production schedules.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, lead times, and delivery schedules with suppliers while maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Product Development, Production, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Monitor material availability and proactively resolve supply-related issues to avoid production delays.
• Prepare purchase follow-up reports, vendor performance reports, presentations, and procurement documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier quotations, purchase status, approvals, and sourcing documentation.
• Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.
