About this role
RIVYA JEWELRY PVT. LTD. Silver King | Rivya
Merchandiser & Market Research Manager Jewellery · B2B & B2C · Jaipur (On-site) · Full-time
About the Role We are a growing 925 cz silver and polki jewellery house operating across both B2B (Silver King) and our premium D2C brand (Rivya). We are hiring a sharp Merchandiser who can own market research, decide what we make and buy, and tell us clearly what to run, what to drop, where to sell it and at what price — across both wholesale and retail.
Key Responsibilities Market Research & Trend R&D • Continuously research market and fashion trends across jewellery for both B2B and B2C segments. • Identify which designs, styles and product categories are rising or falling in demand. • Translate trend insight into clear, actionable recommendations: what to run, what to skip.
Product & Assortment Decisions • Decide which products to manufacture in-house vs. purchase, based on demand and margin. • Build seasonal and drop-based assortment plans for each brand (B2B and D2C). • Tailor product mix for different markets — premium retail vs. tier-2/3 wholesale buyers.
Jewellery Purchasing & Buying • Own jewellery purchasing — select inventory that will actually sell, not just look good. • Evaluate vendors, designs and stock based on saleability, cost and brand fit. • Manage purchase budgets, order quantities and timing to avoid dead stock.
Pricing & Channel Strategy • Recommend pricing and margin strategy for each product line across B2B and B2C. • Advise where to sell — channels, regions and partner types best suited to each product. • Define how much to sell, in what quantity, and through which route to market.
Performance Tracking • Track what is working vs. not using sales, margin and inventory data. • Course-correct the assortment and reorder/drop products based on results. • Report insights and recommendations directly to the founder.
Requirements • 2+ years in jewellery or fashion merchandising, buying or category management. • Strong grip on trend forecasting and consumer behaviour across B2B and B2C. • Comfortable with data — sales reports, margins and inventory analysis. • Sharp commercial instinct: knows what sells, why, and at what price. • Understanding of silver / polki / 925 jewellery is a strong plus. • Decisive, organised and able to turn research into clear action.
Nice to Have • Existing supplier or retailer network in the jewellery trade. • Experience with drop-based or premium D2C jewellery brands. • Familiarity with Jaipur's manufacturing and wholesale ecosystem.
Why Join Us Work directly with the founder across three growing jewellery brands. Real ownership, real decisions, real impact on what we build and sell.
