Job Description: M.E.P. Services Project Engineer

Location: Project Site / Office

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, execution, coordination and monitoring of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works, ensuring quality, safety, compliance and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications and project schedules.
• Supervise site execution and ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and civil teams.
• Manage MEP materials, procurement schedules and subcontractor activities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes and statutory requirements.
• Maintain project progress reports, inspection records, as-built drawings and handover documents.

Key Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Fire-fighting, Plumbing and ICT systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera and Excel.
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and green building standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
