Job Description MEP Engineer | Snagging & De-snagging

Location: Mumbai
Project: Runwal Project
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / MEP Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct MEP snagging inspections for residential/commercial building works.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and incomplete MEP works.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams for timely rectification.
• Carry out de-snagging inspections and verify closure of identified snags.
• Inspect HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP installations.
• Review MEP works against approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare snag lists, inspection reports, and closure reports.
• Monitor progress of corrective actions and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to resolve interface-related issues.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on MEP quality and snagging status.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in MEP inspection, snagging, de-snagging, or construction quality.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
• Experience in residential/high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at the project site in Mumbai.
