About this role
- Coordinate and monitor MEP works at site, with primary responsibility for electrical systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and civil/architectural teams for smooth execution.
- Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications to ensure proper integration.
- Supervise electrical systems including HT/LT, transformers, DGs, UPS, PCC/MCC, busbars, cabling, earthing, lighting, and power distribution.
- Resolve site coordination issues and ensure timely closure of RFI, technical queries, and drawing-related issues.
- Monitor installation progress, manpower, material availability, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate MEP testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and integrated system testing activities.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and approvals.
- Prepare/monitor daily and weekly progress reports, inspection records, and MEP documentation.
- Coordinate with project management for planning, execution, and timely completion of MEP activities.
- Support snagging, rectification, handover, as-built drawings, and final project documentation.
