About this role
Research the intersection of advertising, media consumption, and mental well-being - informing responsible product design and corporate social responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Design studies on the impact of advertising formats, attention demands, and content exposure on well-being
- Review and synthesise academic literature on media psychology, attention science, and digital wellness
- Develop ethical guidelines and frameworks for responsible advertising practices
- Write research papers, policy briefs, and accessible articles for industry and public audiences
- Collaborate with product teams on features that support healthy engagement patterns
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and mental health organisations
- Background in psychology, neuroscience, public health, or media studies
- Research experience - study design, IRB protocols, data analysis
- Understanding of media effects theory and digital wellness frameworks
- Strong writing skills for both academic and general audiences
- Genuine interest in the ethics of advertising and its societal impact
