Job Summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for an experienced Mendix Developer to design, develop, integrate, and deploy cloud-based web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Mendix development, along with good knowledge of cloud technologies, REST APIs, databases, and application deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Mendix.
• Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop and deploy web applications on cloud platforms.
• Integrate applications with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Work with data platforms such as Snowflake / SDC and other external systems.
• Support application deployment and understand web servers, load balancers, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, business teams, and other stakeholders.
• Follow Agile/Scrum and Lean development practices.
• Apply rapid programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices where applicable.
• Participate in technical discussions, presentations, and solution design activities.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues and ensure timely resolution.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience
• Strong understanding of Mendix application development
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-based web applications
• Strong experience with REST APIs / Microservices
• Good knowledge of RDBMS and database integration
• Exposure to NoSQL databases
• Understanding of application deployment, web servers, and load balancers
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Snowflake / SDC
• Knowledge of Java
• Experience with TDD
• Experience in rapid application development/programming
• Experience working with enterprise or large-scale applications
