About this role

Roles and Responsibility
- Accurately and efficiently transcribe medical records, including patient histories and physicals.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance transcription accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent listening and typing skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Proficient in using transcription software and equipment, such as foot pedals and headsets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
