We are hiring for Medical Services Head

Job Purpose

The Head of Medical Services is an experienced Consultant Physician with a strong clinical and administrative track record, the post holder helps lead the development and implementation of the hospitals clinical strategy, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, cost-effective patient centered care in line with the groups objectives and goals. Support the clinical operations of the organization ensuring and excelling the clinical services across the hospital.

Job Description

1. Organizing clinical departments number of consultants, JCs, RMO for each department, job profiles for all.
2. Study current departments, swot analysis of the same and recommendation for implementation based on study.
3. Identify new departments and facilities within existing departments that should be started based on complete presentation on the following criteria need, cost, manpower, potential clinical benefit and revenue stream.
4. Responsibility for achieving patient, doctor satisfaction.
5. Improving OPD, IPD and emergency services.
6. Forming committees for medical audit, total quality management.
7. Achieve all the required accreditations and re-accreditations like NABH, NABL etc.
8. To ensure availability of medical care in critical specialties at all times
9. Developing & implementing of SOPs for various processes of Medical Department
10. Collating and monitoring performance indicators of Clinical Specialties & advising the management through fortnightly reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAs)

1. Achieving the target on based upon Departmental revenue modelling.

2. Manpower Planning of Medical Staffs.

3. Managing rate of attrition of Medical Staffs.

4. Achieving patients, doctors satisfaction.

5. Implementation of SOPs for various processes of Medical Department

6. Optimum excellence in service, patients satisfactions and planned profitability.

7. Bench marking of the services, accreditation and report progress on each month’s performance over previous month.

8. Develop the standards to bring about quality clinical services.

9. Closely monitoring consumption of expendables and consumable of medical nature, comparing the data with the previous record and taking appropriate measures for effective control on consumption.

Develop and encourage new ideas of innovation for competitiveness and monthly submission of the same.
