Medical Representative

Role & responsibilities :

• Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors and healthcare professionals across the assigned territory.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular doctor calls, product presentations, and follow-ups to drive prescriptions and business growth.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the territory.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. • Maintain accurate records of daily calls, sales, doctor coverage, and territory performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to execute promotional and sales initiatives effectively.
• Travel regularly across the assigned territory to meet doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies for product promotion, relationship building, and business development. The role involves regular field visits and travel as per business requirements.

Preferred candidate profile :

• 5 - 8 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical market and competitive landscape.
• Strong understanding of pharma sales processes, distribution channels, and competitive market dynamics.
