About this role
- MEDICAL OFFICER
- Full-Time
- MBBS from a recognized medical college/university.
- Valid registration with State Medical Council / NMC.
- Conduct OPD consultations and medical examination of patients at MMU camps.
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses as per standard clinical protocols.
- Provide basic emergency and first-aid care and ensure timely referral of serious cases.
- Prescribe medicines appropriately and monitor treatment response.
- Provide preventive, promotive and primary healthcare services.
- Conduct health screening and support MCH, women’s health and general health services.
- Provide health education and counselling to patients and community members.
- Maintain patient records, OPD registers, prescriptions, referral records and daily reports.
- Supervise and coordinate the MMU team, including Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Lab Technician and Driver.
- Monitor availability and proper utilization of medicines, medical equipment and other supplies.
- Follow the approved MMU route plan, camp schedule and project SOPs.
- Coordinate with nearby PHCs, CHCs, hospitals and other healthcare facilities for patient referrals.
- Participate in health awareness programmes, community outreach activities and special health camps.
