Medical Officer

Role & Responsibilities

• Examine patients, assess their medical conditions, and provide appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct OPD consultations and attend to patients as per clinical requirements.
• Take patient history, perform physical examinations, and recommend necessary investigations.
• Prescribe medicines and treatment plans as per diagnosis and established medical protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment when required.
• Identify medical emergencies and provide appropriate initial management or refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and documentation.
• Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care to patients and their attendants.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Follow hospital/clinic policies, medical guidelines, and applicable healthcare standards.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards while providing patient care.
