Job Title: Senior Medical Coder
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)
Experience: 1 to 5 yrs

Required Specialties (Any ONE is acceptable):

• Evaluation & Management (E/M) Coding
• Emergency Department (ED) / Emergency Room Coding
• General Surgery / Surgical Coding

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in medical coding in at least one of the above specialties.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Experience reviewing patient charts, medical records, and physician documentation.
• Ability to assign accurate medical codes based on clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, quality checks, and error correction.
• Ability to meet daily and monthly productivity and quality targets.
• Experience following client-specific coding instructions and maintaining production reports.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Medical Coders, Physician Coders, Outpatient Coders, Surgical Coders, and Emergency Department Coders with 24 years of relevant experience.

Candidates with experience in any one of the three specialties will be considered. Experience in all three specialties is not mandatory.
