Medical Coder

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes.
• Review and verify the accuracy of diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered by healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for medical coding practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies or questions related to coding.

Job Requirements :

• 3-8 years of experience in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, E/M).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHRs) such as Epic Systems or similar platforms.
