Medical Coder- E/M OP - Only Manual ( Denial coding cross training)

Role & responsibilities

• Review and process emergency medicine outpatient (EM OP) medical claims accurately.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance details, and eligibility information.
• Review medical records, charge sheets, and supporting documentation.
• Validate CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifier details as per billing guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any graduate or relevant educational qualification.
• Freshers or experienced candidates may apply, depending on company requirements.
• Basic knowledge of US healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is preferred.
• Understanding of emergency medicine outpatient billing is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and E/M coding is preferred.
