Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Dental Coder with 1–3 years of experience in dental coding and billing. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing dental records, assigning accurate dental procedure and diagnosis codes, and supporting the dental claims and reimbursement process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review dental patient records, treatment plans, clinical notes, and supporting documentation.
• Assign appropriate dental procedure codes using CDT (Current Dental Terminology) coding guidelines.
• Verify dental procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Review dental insurance claims before submission to ensure coding accuracy and completeness.
• Identify coding errors, missing information, and documentation discrepancies.
• Support dental billing, claim submission, denial review, and claim correction processes.
• Follow applicable dental coding guidelines, payer requirements, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with the team to resolve coding-related queries and improve claim accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in dental coding, preferably in US healthcare RCM.
• Knowledge of CDT codes and dental procedure coding guidelines.
• Familiarity with dental insurance claims, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Basic understanding of dental terminology and treatment procedures.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet assigned productivity and quality targets.
• Good communication skills.
