Designation : Medical Affairs Manager

Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Medical Affairs Leader
Qualification: MBBS; MBA preferred
Experience: 3 to 5 years in Pharmaceutical / Medical Device / Healthcare

About the opportunity

BD is looking for a Medical Affairs Manager for the MDS business in Mumbai. The role focuses on executing regional clinical strategies, conducting clinical education and training, supporting hospital engagements, building KOL relationships, and providing clinical support to sales and channel teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical education programs, seminars, in-service programs, and product training.
• Engage with KOLs, clinicians, hospital leadership, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Support product evaluations, hospital clinical audits, protocols, and clinical implementation.
• Provide clinical and technical support to the sales organization.
• Build the clinical capabilities of sales teams and channel partners.
• Develop and manage KOL relationships across the region.
• Support clinical/economic studies and regional customer-engagement initiatives.
• Conduct induction training, product refreshers, clinical updates, and proficiency assessments.

Mandatory requirements

• MBBS qualification from an institution recognized in India
• Approximately 2 to 3 years of hospital/clinical experience
• Subsequent corporate experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare
• Overall relevant experience of approximately 3 to 5 years
• Comfortable with a field-based role and regular travel
• Willing to work from Mumbai
• Strong communication, presentation, training, and stakeholder-management skills
