Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Specialist with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, mechatronic systems, robotics, and machine maintenance. The selected candidate will be based in Chennai (Guindy) and will travel to Russia on a rotational assignment to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain mechatronic systems and automated machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, actuators, servo motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues.
• Support machine commissioning, testing, calibration, and performance optimization.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Coordinate with engineering and customer teams during project execution.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance documentation, and technical records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and operators when required.
• Travel to Russia on a rotational basis for project execution and customer support.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Robotics, and Electro-Mechanical Systems.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Servo Drives, VFDs, HMI, Sensors, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults independently.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a rotational basis.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing, automation, machine building, packaging, automotive, or industrial equipment.
• International project or field service experience will be an added advantage.

• Flexible to work on rotational shifts and extended overseas assignments.
