Mechatronics Internship in Pune

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• CAD & Enclosure Design: Design parts, multi-part assemblies, and electronics enclosures using tools like Fusion 360 or SolidWorks while adhering to practical manufacturing and 3D printing constraints.
• ROS & SLAM Integration: Implement Robot Operating System (ROS) concepts for node-based communication, integrate sensors, and apply SLAM algorithms to establish spatial awareness and robot navigation.
• Component Sourcing & Procurement: Analyze component datasheets to compare sensors, evaluate vendor lead times and landed costs, order samples, and manage international or local supplier sourcing.
• Hardware Assembly & Testing: Physically assemble prototypes, handle PCB wiring and battery safety systems, perform basic soldering, and methodically troubleshoot fitment or subsystem failures.
• Cross-Team Technical Coordination: Interface directly between hardware fabrication and software/firmware teams to pull sensor data, align technical specifications, and document system changes.
