About this role
Role And Responsibilities
- Perform basic job mechanical assembly functions as directed by Shift Lead or Supervisor safely and efficiently
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product
- Assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Will be responsible for the quality of work, and workmanship standards
- Will be responsible for entering failure reports to improve quality
- Will be required to work with engineering to take conceptual design to physical layout
- Will work with system test group to trouble shoot assemblies and rework materials in order to meet system requirements
- Must perform hand-over-hand sub-system quality checks
- Must demonstrate safe working conditions
- Must be familiar with the theory and operation of mechanical components such as blowers, pumps, fans, valves, flow meters, and pressure regulators
- Wiring and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Must be able to read engineering drawings, and some schematics
- Must work at cross functional levels to solve problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- HS diploma or technical/military school certification in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or process engineering/technology preferred.
- At least 6 – 8 years of related experience.
