Position: Mechanical Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and attend breakdowns effectively.
• Perform maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, AHU/FCU, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment issues.
• Perform basic dismantling, repair, alignment, lubrication, and replacement activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth operation.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete maintenance checklists.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and contractors for maintenance activities.
• Maintain daily maintenance reports, logbooks, and breakdown records.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
• Support emergency breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted facility operations.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Manufacturing, Industrial Facilities, Commercial Buildings, Hospitals, or Hotels are preferred.
