Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

Johns Systems LLP is hiring Mechanical Quantity Surveyors with 2 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review BOQ and quantity take-offs for mechanical works
• Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis and cost comparisons
• Handle measurement, valuation and interim payment applications
• Prepare and evaluate variations, claims and final accounts
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Monitor project costs and commercial aspects of mechanical works
• Coordinate with Project, Design, Procurement, Consultants and Client teams
• Maintain proper quantity and commercial documentation

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of International Mechanical QS practices
• Experience in Mechanical Quantity Surveying
• Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and MEP works will be an advantage
• Knowledge of FIDIC / International Contracts preferred
• Strong skills in BOQ, Take-off, Estimation, Rate Analysis, Valuation, Variations and Claims
• Experience in GCC / Middle East / International projects preferred
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and relevant QS software
• Good communication and coordination skills

Eligibility:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification
• 210 years of relevant experience
• International / GCC project experience preferred
• Immediate joiners preferred
