Mission of the Role: Manage and drive some Mechanical engineers (15~20) to deliver mechanical designs for Visteon products, on-cost, on-time, on-quality.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's /Masters degree in the Mechanical engineering field.
• 18+ years of relevant engineering experience preferably in regional or global environment.
• Experience in Automotive or Electro-mechanical products domain Electronics product design, Thermal Management, EMC interface design
• Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal, Diecast, Sealing components design
• Strong experience in ensuring the design quality, verification, Validation methods.
• Expertise in 3D CAD, 2D drawings
• Strong experience in GD&T application, Tolerance studies, DFMEA
• Exposure to Structural and Thermal Simulations
• Exposure to Validation testing, issue resolution and design improvements
• Experience in Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous Improvement
• Experience in Project planning, assignment, prioritization, Risk management, Monitoring of the progress and reporting
• Exposure to Global Culture/Customer is an added advantage.
• Experience in VAVE is added advantage.

• Assign resources from his/her team to each project under his/her responsibilities.
• Make relevant reporting of his/her team to the management.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables from his/her team.
• Provide guidance and support to his/her team through organizational and cross-functional resources.
• Mentor team members to grow them in the career path, Plan for competency development and execute.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders throughout the execution of the programs
• Performance review, improvement planning and execution
• Problem solving and Systemic improvement in the process

• Deliverables Say/Do ratio
• Top talents attrition ratio
