Purpose Statement


Key Role & Responsibilities

• Preparation of Design Basis, Load cases, Critical line list, Wind and Seismic related calculation and documentation.
• Independent evaluation of piping flexibility and layout requirements across each stage of the project.
• Piping supports design by evaluating forces, moments, and displacements.
• Knowledge of performing Flange leakage check, Nozzle loading evaluation, and frequency check using modal, wind, and seismic analysis.
• Well versed in Jacketed piping design, selection of spring support, bellows, WRC check, SPS, and underground piping engineering.
• Knowledge of Datasheets preparation for various specialities like springs, expansion joints, etc.
• Technical report preparation and documentation.
• Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, IBR, and other applicable codes.

Internal & External Relationship

• Project Team - On regular basis - For project design and engineering requirements.
• Design Consultant - On regular basis - For design validation/project requirements/technical know how.
• Technology team - On regular basis - For design related queries/cost optimization/technical know how.
• Mechanical team - On regular basis - For projects & MOC jobs design related issues.

Job Specification

• Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in Detailed Engineering of piping.
• Qualification: B. E. Mechanical from a reputed institute
• Certifications/Trainings: ASME, ANSI, Navisworks
