Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design requirements to produce accurate manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturing standards.
• Prepare bills of materials and maintain drawing documentation for production and quality control.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes and feedback from the engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company guidelines, and applicable codes.
• Assist in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability.
• Maintain organized files and version control for all drafting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of PDM systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, and industrial equipment design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering and production teams.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with global engineering standards and practices.
• Conversational English proficiency.
