About this role
Role Summary
We are looking for skilled Mechanical Engineers to support and optimize manufacturing operations in our bearing manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, process improvement, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and ensuring efficient manufacturing while meeting safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day production activities in the bearing manufacturing unit.
*Monitor tool life, coolant, gauges, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted production
*Implement and sustain 5S, TPM
*Ensure product quality meets customer specifications and internal quality standards.
* Monitor machining operations which includes heading, grinding, heat treatment, Packing & super finishing, and assembly.
* Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum downtime and rejection.
* Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality.
* Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions where required.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Assist in new product development and process validation when required.
* Train machine operators on SOPs and quality standards.
