Mechanical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, review and coordinate HVAC systems specifically for healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, Chiller, Cooling Tower, ventilation and exhaust systems.
• Review medical gas layouts and ensure proper coordination with architectural, electrical and structural services.
• Ensure service shafts, ceiling spaces and plant rooms are adequate for mechanical installations.
• Coordinate equipment heat loads, ventilation, cooling, exhaust, drainage and other mechanical requirements
• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical services.
• Develop equipment schedules and technical specifications.
• Supervise and monitor mechanical installation works at project sites.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.

• Pumps and mechanical equipment

• Plant-room planning
• Equipment utility requirements
• BOQ and quantity estimation
• Technical specifications
• Shop drawing review
• Testing & commissioning
• MEP coordination
• AutoCAD

*Experience in greenfield as well as brownfield hospital projects will be an advantage.
