Key responsibilities:

• Preventive and predictive maintenance of cement-plant mechanical equipment.
• Breakdown troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Maintenance of kiln, raw mill, cement mill, crusher, conveyors, pumps, fans, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.
• Plan and execute annual/major plant shutdown maintenance.
• Monitor equipment condition and improve plant availability/reliability.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, work orders and reports.
• Plan critical spare parts and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, contractors and vendors.
• Follow plant safety procedures and ensure zero-harm maintenance practices.
• Control maintenance costs and support continuous-improvement activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, preferably using SAP/CMMS.

These responsibilities are consistent with current cement-industry mechanical-maintenance roles, which emphasize preventive/predictive maintenance, shutdown planning, critical spares, condition monitoring and knowledge of cement-plant equipment.
