Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience
• Strong academic projects or internships in CAD modelling, manufacturing, or aerospace applications
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design fundamentals

Required Skill Sets Tools

• CAD: SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA
• Drafting: AutoCAD
• Documentation: MS Office
• Design Knowledge: Engineering drawings, GDT basics, and manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

Key Responsibility Areas

• CAD Modeling Design
  • Create 3D part models and basic assemblies using SolidWorks / Siemens NX / CATIA
  • Perform CAD clean-up and geometry corrections
  • Assist in concept sketches and preliminary layouts
• Drawings GDT
  • Generate 2D manufacturing drawings with standard tolerances
  • Apply basic GDT as per ASME Y14.5
• Assembly Integration
  • Assist in assembly mating and integration checks
  • Integrate COTS components (fasteners, brackets, hardware)
• Data Change Management
  • Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN) execution
  • Convert legacy data (STEP / IGES formats) into editable CAD models
