Mechanical Draftsman - (CATIA Plastics Engineering)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled CATIA Draftsman with strong experience in Plastic Engineering to support automotive product development projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CATIA V5, plastic component detailing, and engineering drawing creation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5.
• Prepare detailed engineering and production drawings as per project requirements.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and drafting standards.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams during product development.
• Ensure adherence to GD&T standards and customer specifications.
• Support design changes, drawing updates, and release activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 4-5 years of experience in CATIA drafting and detailing.
• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
• Good understanding of plastic component design and development.
• Experience in preparing manufacturing and detailing drawings.
• Knowledge of Injection Molding processes and plastic part design principles.
• Prior experience in the Plastics Industry is mandatory.
• Automotive industry experience will be an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
