Job Description

Job Title - Mechanical Designer (CATIA V5 and Enovia)

Experience - 3- 8 Years

Location - Chennai

Notice - Immediate to 15 days

Required Skills:

• Create and modify 3D mechanical components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
• Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances and GD&T.
• Perform assembly, clearance and interference checks.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles and support manufacturing feasibility.
• Perform tolerance stack-up and resolve design/interface issues.
• Manage product structures, BOMs and engineering data in ENOVIA.
• Handle engineering changes, revisions and release workflows.
• Conduct design reviews and implement technical feedback.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers and other engineering teams.
• Ensure designs meet technical requirements, quality standards and project timelines.
• Support continuous improvement, standardization and design optimization.

• Sheet Metal Design
• DMU / interference analysis
• MBD / FTA
• CATIA Knowledge ware.
• Automotive, Aerospace, Rail or Industrial Equipment experience.
