POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design & FEA Engineer to support the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and telecom products. This role is focused on concept-to-production development, engineering simulations, vibration analysis, design optimization, product validation, and ongoing engineering support while ensuring manufacturability, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concept designs, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo Parametric.
• Design sheet metal brackets, enclosures, mounting systems, structural components, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Perform Static Structural, Modal, Harmonic Response, and Random Vibration simulations using ANSYS Workbench.
• Analyze stress, deformation, natural frequencies, safety factors, and resonance risks.
• Support design reviews, prototype validation, testing, engineering changes, and technical documentation.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles for manufacturing and assembly optimization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, quality, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Support ECR/ECN activities and lifecycle management processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Creo Parametric.
• Strong experience in ANSYS Workbench and FEA.
• 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Expertise in structural analysis, vibration analysis, and sheet metal design.
• Experience in DFM, DFA, ECR, and ECN processes.

Good to Have

• Telecom product development experience.
• Experience with telecom racks, servers, battery systems, and site installations.
• Exposure to vibration-resistant and anti-theft product development.
