1. DESIGN / CAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER (In-house Design & Enclosures)

About the Role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our in-house mechanical design team, responsible for designing enclosures, consoles, Faraday cages, and structural components used in our high-voltage testing equipment and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design sheet metal enclosures, isolated earthing consoles, and Faraday cage structures using CAD tools.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and assembly designs for manufacturing and procurement.
- Collaborate with the production/assembly team to ensure designs are manufacturable.
- Support structural design and modifications for imported machinery integration.
- Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Review and revise designs based on field feedback and testing requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for fabrication of designed components.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in CATIA V5, SolidWorks, NX, or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal design and structural design principles.
- Experience with 2D drafting and 3D modeling / assembly design.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).




Eligibility Criteria

- Only B.E. / B.Tech graduates can apply - Diploma degree holders will NOT be considered for this role.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written) is compulsory - you will coordinate with vendors and international teams.

Good to Have
- Prior exposure to electrical enclosures, panels, or HV equipment design.
- Understanding of relevant IS/IEC standards for enclosures and structures.
- Experience working with custom/one-off product design (not just mass production parts).


2. PRODUCTION / ASSEMBLY MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Equipment Assembly & Configuration)

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering only - Diploma degree not preferred, only graduates can apply

About the Role

Phitech imports high-voltage testing machinery and equipment, which we assemble, configure, and optimize in-house before deployment. We are looking for a Production/Assembly Engineer to manage this process - ensuring quality, consistency, and readiness of equipment before it reaches clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble and configure imported mechanical/electrical testing equipment as per specifications.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on assembled units before dispatch.
- Support minor design modifications, fixtures, or adjustments required during assembly.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings (CATIA/SolidWorks) to guide assembly work.
- Maintain assembly line efficiency, process documentation, and quality records.
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams to resolve assembly-stage issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during production.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in an assembly/production environment (automotive or industrial manufacturing background preferred).
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5 or similar CAD tools for reading drawings.
- Familiarity with sheet metal components and assembly processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
