Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

Join our RD team to lead the end-to-end mechanical design of cutting-edge robotic systems. You translate complex requirements into precise, manufacturable designs, working from concept to prototype to production-ready hardware.

Your Mission Includes

• Designing and developing mechanical sub-systems for robotic platforms
• Creating detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
• Conducting design reviews, FEA analysis, and tolerance studies
• Collaborating with electrical and firmware teams for seamless integration
• Driving DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
• Managing BOM accuracy and revision control

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (1-3 years of relevant experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 (preferred) - assemblies and drawings
• Understanding of manufacturing processes: sheet metal, CNC machining, injection moulding
• Experience with GDT and engineering drawing standards
• Ability to work hands-on with prototypes and iterate quickly

Tools Technologies

• SolidWorks, Fusion 360 (preferred), AutoCAD
• FEA tools: ANSYS / SolidWorks Simulation
• 3D Printers, CNC Machines, basic workshop tooling
• PDM / PLM systems for document and version control
